We wanted to say hello and let you know what's been
happening!!! We've been hard at work, writing the new Vixen
album, and it's coming along great!! We're preparing to start
pre-production very soon, and go into the studio this fall!
We are planning to release the next album in the Spring of
2009, and our label Demolition is gearing up for that! We are
also in discussions with promoters about touring to support the
new album, so it's very likely that you will see Vixen perform
near you in 2009 !!!

We are sorry to report that the release of the "Live in Sweden" CD has been postponed until early next year due to
circumstances beyond our control involving the Sanctuary/Universal takeover. We will give more information on a 'definite'
release date when we know!
September 12th
There have been rumors of possible tour dates with Hanoi Rocks and LA Guns. While there are ongoing discussions, none of
these dates have been confirmed so please do not purchase tickets to shows until we officially announce tour dates on this
website. The only confirmed date for Vixen at this point is Hard Rock Hell on November 9th.
September 10th

Due to the promoter not fulfilling his contractual obligations, the German tour (plus Austrian and Swiss dates) will be
rescheduled for early 2007.
October 24th
A new interview with Jenna can be read at The Cover Zone. In it she talks about her musical beginnings, how she came to
join Vixen, bringing her own vocal style to the band, and Vixen's future plans.
October 10th
Vixen will be playing some more European shows in December, plus the Hawgs of Texas Motorcycle Rally in April next
year. The European tour includes dates in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Spain, with a short Finnish tour along with
Yngwie Malmsteen and U.D.O. See the tour dates page.

The Rock 4 Life Festival in Trinidad, which would have been on September 2nd, has unfortunately had to be cancelled
due to bad weather (a tropical storm). The Rio show will hopefully go ahead at a later date. For more information see

Also, please note that the 'Extended Versions' CD (live in Sweden) is finally out!

Two members of Vixen now have official myspace pages - Jenna Sanz-Agero
and Lynn Louise Lowrey.
However, there is also a page for Jan Kuehnemund on myspace ... this has now been
changed to reflect the fact that it is a tribute to Jan ... i.e. this is not Jan's personal
page and she has no connection to it.
July 10th

The RagnaRock festival in Norway has been officially cancelled (see http://www.ragnarock.as)
Therefore Vixen will be rescheduling some of their European dates for later this year, after the release of "Live & Learn".
The appearances at the Rock & Blues Custom Show and the Rock of Ages Festival will go ahead, information on other shows
to follow.
June 24th

On June 21st Vixen were on Indie 103.1fm's Chaos radio show, see the playlist in their archives now.
Tentative release date for the new album Live & Learn is in September through Demolition Records.
June 16th
More Vixen European dates have been confirmed! Check the tour dates page for the current list.
The UK shows are a package called the Lords and Ladies Tour featuring Vixen and House of Lords.
Other dates so far are in Germany, Switzerland and Sweden with hopefully more to follow.
June 11th
The Farmington, MO show that was scheduled for tonight will unfortunately not be happening. The promoter changed
the venue and never communicated to Vixen's management where the band were supposed to be playing (or any of the
necessary info for the gig) so it is impossible to go ahead with the show. We are sorry for any fans who were planning
to attend the show, but please rest assured that this is not the fault of the band and we would love to play for you if it
was at all possible.
April 29th
More US tour dates have been confirmed, including a special event, the Rio Grande Rock-n-Roar Bikefest at El Paso,
Texas in October. This almost completes the tour schedule for the US. Vixen will also be playing at the Rockzinante
Excalibur Metal Festival in Madrid, Spain on September 30th. Look for more dates in Europe to be announced soon,
for now see the tour dates page for details of all current shows.
April 12th
Following on from Jan's interview with Electric Eye Radio on March 31st, look out
for Lynn and Jenna's appearances on the station. Lynn will be on April 28th and
Jenna on May 24th.
Vixen's Live in Sweden album, recorded at last years Sweden Rock Festival, now
has a release date of May 15th in the US. See the discography page for more
details!
